"Špela Sterle Dance in Verve Dances presented a really intriguing and original evening of dances at Joyce Soho. Her pieces have a deeply organic quality and emphasize cycles of life and fertility in the natural world, presented with an Eastern European sense of whimsy and humor. This concert was also especially successful at incorporating original and commissioned music into the dances, two by Acquaman and one by Andy Parsons, and video projections behind two pieces worked well, too."
